He became a bishop of Athens

At 90 years old he was tortured for Christ.

He was beheaded in 96 AD

St. Dionysius traveled widely with St. Paul and all coming to know all the other apostles he went especially to Jerusalem to see the most holy mother of God and he at the burial of the most per Theotokos
