New Jersey Deanery Altarboy Retreat at Holy Ghost Church, Manville, New Jersey - November 12, 2005


Manville, NJ -- The New Jersey Deanery Priests conducted a one-day retreat for 16 of its altar boys at Holy Ghost Church in Manville. The day included a spiritual talk and hands-on demonstrations in making prosfora and koliva. The attending boys were treated to a walk on the Apostles Trail at the nearby Ukranian Cultural Center in South Boundbrook. The highlight of the day was the service of vespers with all the boys serving and singing around the altar. The retreat was conducted by Protopresbyter Michael Rosco, Dean, Fr. Matthew Moriak, host pastor, Fr. Michael Psenechnuk, Fr. John Pribish, Fr. Andrew Fetchina and Fr. Michael Chendorain.
