2007 Eastern Regional Diocesan Lenten Retreat
On Saturday March 24, 2007, the Annual Diocesan Eastern Seaboard Lenten Retreat, sponsored by the National ACRY was held at the National Christian Conference Center in Phoenixville, PA. Breaking down into three age groups, the participants enjoyed a spiritually uplifting day of prayer, reflection and education. The adult presentation on the topic "Living a Eucharistic Life" was led by Very Rev. Fr. David Cochran, a teen presentation on the Eucharist " Expect Me Today as A Communicant" was led by Fr. Michael Chendorain, and a children's workshop on "Thinking About God" was offered by Fr. Matthew Moriak. The posted photos show scenes from the day's events.
Very Rev. Fr. David Cochran, the Pastor of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, of Bridgeport, CT gave a dynamic presentation about the centrality of the Eucharist in the life of the Orthodox Christian.

This year marked a substantial increase in attendance at the retreat with a total of 45 adults and 24 children.
The retreat participants were greeted by ESD ACRY President Soniya Woloszyn who coordinated the retreat along with Tracey Bilanin of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in Phoenixville, PA.

National ACRY President Matt Peifer was in attendance at the retreat along with Mary Ann Hudak, National ACRY Secretary.
