Diocesan Pilgrimage to Constantinople Day 5
(November 30, 2006 - By Fr. Nectarios Trevino) Today we were present for Divine Liturgy - as always a vibrant and spirit-filled moment, today is was moreso. The emotional outpouring during the liturgy was nearly overwhelming. The climax of the day, if there is one beyond Divine Liturgy, was the blessing given by Pope Benedict XVI and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I to the attendees. Then the moment was followed by the joining of hands as evidenced in the photo taken by my son, Joshua.
