New England Deanery Choir Concert
On Saturday October 20, 2007. The parishes of the New England Deanery gathered at St. John the Baptist Church in Bridgeport, CT for a choir concert. The faithful in attendance were treated to musical selections from the choirs of Holy Trinity Church of Danbury, CT, St. John the Baptist Church (Broadbridge Ave - Stratford, CT) and St. John the Baptist Church of Bridgeport, CT. faithful of the New England Deanery enjoyed an afternoon of beautiful choral and Plain Chant music, and informal fellowship which followed the concert. This is the first of what is expected to be an annual event.
The Holy Trinity Church Choir of Danbury, under the direction of Sandi Fong.
The faithful of St. John's Church of Bridgeport, always the gracious hosts, provided a delicious fellowship reception following the concert.
The faithful listened intently to the beautiful liturgical singing.
A trio, from St. John the Baptist Church in Stratford sang both choral and harmonized plain chant hymns.
Very Rev. Fr. David Cochran, the host pastor, welcomed the faithful in attendance for the concert.

"Behold How Good and Pleasant It Is When Brothers Dwell Together In Unity..." The finale included three selections which were sung by a combined choir of the participating choirs.
