Camp Nazareth: Week 3, Sunday July 27, 2008
The posted photos show scenes from the first day of the New York, New Jersey, New England and Canada Deaneries camping week (Week 3: July 27-Aug 2, 2008)
The New Jersey bus was the next to arrive.
After Supper, the campers were introduced to the 2008 Camp Nazareth Staff and learned more about the week's schedule and the rules they were to follow for the week. Evening prayers followed shortly thereafter which ended the day.
After registration, the first order of business was a barbecue supper prepared by the Camp Nazareth Kitchen Staff.
Upon claiming their luggage, the campers lined up to register.
The New England Bus and Mini-Van are the first to arrive at Camp Nazareth.
The campers were met by the friendly registration staff. The registration total for this third diocesan week totalled 135 campers - the largest group in more than 15 years for the New York, New Jersey and New England Deaneries.
