2009 Altarboy Retreat - Tues & Wed June 30 - July 1, 2009

The third day of the retreat began with Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral, with the altarboys singing the responses. After Liturgy and breakfast they headed off again for Windber, St. Nicholas Church in Homestead and finally to PNC Park in Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates play the Cubs. On Wednesday, after morning prayers and breakfast, the altarboys departed for their home parishes
The Altarboys processed to the Cathedral from the Seminary.
"Blessed is the Kingdom...."
The altarboys sang the responses to Divine Liturgy with power and beauty.
Peter receives the blessing to read the Epistle.

Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko offered the homily.

His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas distributed Antidoron at the conclusion of Divine Liturgy.
