2009 Youth Pilgrimage - Saturday

Saturday morning began with the celebration of Divine Liturgy. Following breakfast, the pilgrims met in the grove, by the camp Church for a discussion of the history and significance of the wonderworking Icon of the Theotokos of Smolensk. In the afternoon, the pilgrims traveled to the Polk Center, a home for the mentally and physically challenged to celebrate a Moleben to St. Nectarios. Our diocese has a chapel in honor of The Apostle Luke the Physician. Upon returning back to camp the youth joined the Pilgrims for the Dormition and Transfiguration Pilgrimage, for the celebration of Great Vespers.
