Archpastoral Visit To St. Nicholas Church, Homestead

On Sunday March 21, 2010, The Fifth Sunday of Great Lent, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas Made His Annual Archpastoral Visitation to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church of Homestead, PA.

Highlights of His Visitation Included the Setting Aside of Kristofer Carlisle of St. John the Baptist Church, East Pittsburgh as Reader, The Ordination of Subdeacon Matthew Stagon to the Holy Deaconate and the Blessing of New Icons.

Following Divine Liturgy, All Took Part in the 60th Annual Parish Communion Breakfast in the Parish Hall.
His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas is Greeted with Bread and Salt By the Parish Council President.
