On Sunday June 10, 2012, clergy and faithful from throughout the diocese gathered at Camp Nazareth for the Annual Family Day Celebration.
The day began with the celebration of Divine Liturgy by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Diocesan Chancellor and members of the Diocesan Consistory and priests of the surrounding deaneries. The Very Rev. Archimandrite Grigorios Tatsis of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New Orleans was the guest homilist.
Following Liturgy, a new shrine to St. Nectarios, erected in honor and memory of Metropolitan Nicholas was blessed as was the newly renovated and expanded Camp Director's residence.
During the luncheon which followed, the faithful and following luncheon the clergy had the opportunity to meet and converse with Fr. Grigorios Tatsis.
