Jr. ACRY Essay Contest

ELIZABETH, NJ - Camp Nazareth is a place we all like to be in the summer!! Wouldn't it be nice if you could spend more than 1 week there without having to beg Mom or Dad to let you go?? Well, now here's your chance!! Although Spring is just beginning it's not too early to start planning for those hot summer days!!! Now here's your chance to get a reward for being a member of the National Jr. ACRY. You could win a free week at Camp Nazareth!!! It's very easy too!! All you have to do is enter the National Jr. ACRY Camp Essay Contest. Your essay will be judged by the members of the National Jr. ACRY Board. Originality and Creativity are your best chances of winning!!! All we ask is that you follow the directions below.

Who can enter: Anyone in the National Jr. ACRY

At the 2004 Convention in Bayonne, NJ, the delegation decided to expand the contest to a free write. Instead of giving you one set topic to write on, you can choose from any of the 4 themes below:

Camp Nazareth

Orthodoxy

The Church

The Jr. ACRY

In 200 words or less, please write an essay pertaining to any one of these themes.

Place your name, address, telephone number, and chapter number on the BACK of your essay. This is so the Jr. Board doesn't know whose essay they are reading!
