New England Deanery St John Chrysostom Celebration

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Chancery is pleased to announce that with
the Blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas, a St. John
Chrysostom Celebration commemorating the 1600th anniversary of the Saints Repose
will take place in the New England Deanery.
WHERE: St John The Baptist Church, 1240 Broadbridge
Avenue, Stratford, CT
WHEN: Saturday December 1, 2007
TIME: 3:00 pm. The Akathist to St. John Chrysostom will be celebrated by
Deanery Clergy
Following the Akathist, Fr. Peter Paproski will give a powerpoint/slide
presentation on the recent International Youth Conference in Constantinople that
was attended by a delegation of Diocesan priests and youth. A highpoint of the
conference was the veneration of the relics of St. John Chrysostom at the
Patriarchal Church of St. George at the Phanar
Light refreshments in the church hall will follow. All are welcome and
encouraged to attend.
