Register Now For 2014 Diocesan Lenten Retreats!

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Diocesan Chancery is pleased to announce the schedule of the annual Diocesan Lenten Retreats, which are sponsored by the ACRY for the upcoming Lenten Season. These retreats are open to everyone and contain special programing for youth and adults of all ages. Bishop Gregory, along with other talented clergy of the Diocese will offer insightful and inspiring presentations designed to encourage and challenge the faithful to stay focused on the spiritual life as they continue their Lenten Journey to Pascha.

Central Region:  Saturday March 29, 2014 at  St. Nicholas Church, Homestead, PA from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Adult Retreat Master, Bishop Gregory, will speak on the topic Repentance and Confession and Rev. Fr. Matthew Stagon the  youth presenter will lead an interactive discussion on the theme Have You Thought About Your Baptism Today?.  Registration is required and must be made by March 22, 2014.  Cathy Pawlik is in charge of registration.  Download Registration Form.  (PDF Format)
     
Eastern Region:  Saturday April 5, 2013 at  Holy Ghost Orthodox Church (Phoenixville, PA) from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (EST).  Rev. Fr. Jeff Zias  will lead the adults in a discussion of the topic: God's Grace: Treasure Treasure of the Holy;   Rev. Fr. Michael Chendorain, the Teen Presenter will discuss the topic  Knight's Tale: Christians - Prepare for Glory!  Rev. Fr. William and Pani Amy George will serve as retreat masters for children ages 6-11 and will speak on the topic: Eat, Pray, Love: Our Life in Christ. Western Region:  Saturday April 5, 2014 at The Descent of the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church, Schererville, IN at 2:00 pm (CST)  His Grace, Bishop Gregory will give a presentation on the topic: Repentance and Confession.   Fr. Jonathan and Pani Marianna Bannon will lead the youth in attendance on a discussion on Putting on ChristDon't forget your coat! …and Christ.
