Follow Altarboy Retreat 2012 On-Line
JOHNSTOWN, PA - Diocesan Clergy, parents and faithful are invited to follow on-line the activities and events of the upcoming Diocesan Altarboy Retreat which will take place from Sunday July 1- Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Christ the Saviour Seminary and Cathedral.
This year's retreat will be focused on the theme "Experiencing The Holy Mysteries As A Priest"
In addition to participation in daily prayers, liturgical services, classes, and instruction in Plain Chant, the particpants will be hosted on Monday, June 27, by the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish of Windber, PA where they will enjoy swimming, sports and other recreational activities, and a barbeque.
On Tuesday all will participate in the Divine Liturgy in the Diocesan Cathedral and after brunch and classes, will board the buses for an excursion to Pittsburgh where they will attend a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
This year, you will again be able to watch the retreat liturgy live (Tuesday July 3 at 8:30 am) by clicking here and in archival format by 11 pm of the same day here. We will also post photos as time permits on our diocesan website during the retreat.
