The Ordination of Subdeacon Jonathan Bannon To The Holy Diaconate (6-16-13)

On Sunday, June 16, 2013, Subdeacon Jonathan Bannon was ordained to the Holy Diaconate through the laying on of hands by His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Bridgeport, CT.

A vocation of Saint John the Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Deacon Jonathan had the double blessing of being the first ordination to Holy Orders of Bishop Gregory and it taking place in his home parish.

Posted photos, courtesy of Mrs. Jill Fazekas, Anthony Ruggerio and Michael Stan show scenes from the Sunday Hierarchical Liturgy and ordination.
