Wonderworking Kursk Root Icon To Visit Nativity of Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, PA
SAXONBURG, PA -- The Wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Theotokos will visit the Holy Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery in Saxonburg, PA from January 20-21, 2011. Diocesan Faithful are cordially invited to take part in the liturgical services and venerate this icon.
The Schedule For the Icon Visitation is as Follows:
Thursday January 20, 2011
Arrival time: Approx. 5:00 p.m.
Vesper Service and orthos 6:00 p.m.
All night vigil
Friday January 21, 2011
Pre communion prayers at 7:00 a.m.
Liturgy at 7:30 a.m.
The icon will remain in the church for veneration and prayers during the day
Departure: Approximately 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
