Metropolitan Nicholas Begins Archpastoral Visitation to The New England Deanery

BRIDGEPORT, CT ---   His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas began his Archpastoral Visitation to the New England Deanery  this evening with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts at St. John the Baptist, Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of Bridgeport, CT. Assisting His Eminence, was the Very Rev. David Cochran, the host pastor,  Very Rev. Protopresbyter Luke Mihaly, Dean of the New England Deanery,  Very Rev. Michael Macura, Pastor of St. John's Church (Silver Lane) Stratford, CT, the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Peter Paproski of St. John's Church (Broadbridge Ave) Stratford, CT and Deacon Robert Hubiak of Holy Trinity Church in Danbury.   His Eminence was accompanied by  Seminarians Jonathan Bannon, Joseph Gingrich, Christopher Greenhill, David Mastroberte and Gregory Robel. 

Following the Presanctified Liturgy, a delicious Lenten Supper prepared by the faithful of St. John's was enjoyed by  a large group of  parishioners and guests from throughout the Deanery.

His Eminence will pay an Archpastoral Visit to St. Mary's Church in Yonkers, New York tommorow afternoon  and on Sunday will return to St. John's to celebrate the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.
