Diocesan Clergy and Faithful Gather For Funeral of Vladimir Rosco

JOHNSTOWN,PA [Diocesan Chancery]-- Clergy, parishioners and family of the deceased gathered in St. John's Church in Perth Amboy, NJ on Monday, December 2 for the funeral of Vladimir Rosco, son of Pani Susan Rosco and the late Protopresbyter Michael S. Rosco. The previous evening, a Requiem was sung in the Novak Funeral Home. The deceased had passed away unexpectedly on November 23, six months after the death of his father who died as a result of a fatal car crash.

The pastor of St. John's, Father Michael Chendorain, was celebrant at both requiem services. Con-celebrating with him was Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Chancellor, representing His Grace, Bishop Gregory who was participating in an Archon Conference in Berlin, Germany at the time. Father Chendorain eulogized the departed, and Father Miloro read a condolence letter from Bishop Gregory, as well as offering the sympathy of the Diocesan clergy.

Metropolitan Anthony of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA was in attendance, as well as O.C.A. clergy including His Grace, Bishop Matthias, Fr. Matthew Moriak and Protopresbyter Joseph Lickwar.

Concelebrating were Protopresbyter Mark Leasure, Fr. Miles Zdinak, Protopresbyter Peter Paproski, Fr.Andrew Fetchina, Fr. Michael Psenechnuk, Fr. Stephen Krivonak, Fr. John Pribish, Fr. John Fencik, Fr. John Cmur, Fr. Kenneth Ellis, Protodeacon Gregory Benc and Deacon William George.

Burial was in the Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Cemetery in South Boundbrook, followed by a luncheon in the nearby Ukrainian Center.
