JOHNSTOWN, PA -- On Friday, January 21, 2011, the Kursk-Root icon of the Mother of God made an unexpected visit to Johnstown. The Very Revered Archpriest Serge Lukianov who is accompanying this wonder-working icon throughout the United States, made a short trip to Johnstown in order to afford His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas the opportunity to venerate the icon.
