 An historic event took place at the 2009  XXI Diocesan Sobor  which was held from July 12-15, 2010 at  the Ukrainian Orthodox Cultural Center in  South Boundbrook, NJ - the delegates voted to adjourn for one year. This  action was taken to allow the newly formed Mission and Evangelization and Stewardship Commissions to begin study these two important areas of Church Life and make concrete recommendations to be enacted on by Diocesan parish delegates.
