Camp Nazareth Cabin Expansion Project Days 7-16 (11/4/15)

The Camp Nazareth Cabins are undergoing a major upgrade with this expansion. New bathrooms, showers, a large common room, covered front porches, and climate control (hvac) are just some of the planned upgrades.

The project is scheduled to be completed by March 1, 2016.

Photos show scenes from days 7-16 of construction: Oct 27- Nov 4, 2015

Oct 27: Pouring the first footer (for cabins 7 & 8). More to come...
Oct 27: Rain prevented the Mixer from getting all the way to cabins 7 & 8, but nothing that a bucket can't take care of.
Oct 27: The footer has to be the right depth and thickness, and it has to be smoothed out.
Oct 27: It takes a lot of concrete for each footer. Here cabins 7 & 8 get theirs poured.
Oct 28: Instead of a foundation, we decided to put in moats around each cabin in case of attack. Camp Nazareth's own version of Forge of Empires
Oct 29: This was a little "game" called "fjord the foundation". Get the digger over the trench without it falling in. He was successful.
