Diocesan Altarboy Retreat

The annual Altarboys Retreat is much-awaited by our diocesan altarboys. Taking place at Christ the Saviour Seminary and Cathedral in Johnstown, PA, the retreat participants are given an opportunity to learn more about the priestly vocation and seminary. Many such retreats have taken place through the years in Johnstown. The posted photos show scenes from the well-balanced program of prayer, instruction and fellowship. Altarboys Enter St. John the Baptist Church in Wilpen, PA, Prior to the Beginning a Moleben Service to St. Nectarios. This Beautiful Evening Service was sung by the Altar Servers . This Service Marked the Unofficial Conclusion of Encounter 2002, The Altarboys began the Trip Home to Their Respective Parishes at Noon on Wed June 26.
