2023 Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat

JOHNSTOWN, PA - Registration is now underway for the Annual Altar Boy Retreat which will take place from Sunday evening, June 25th (Registration is from 6pm till 8 p.m.) until Wednesday, June 28, 2023.The Retreat will once again take place at Christ the Savior Seminary, Cathedral and Education Center in Johnstown and at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Windber, PA.
This year, in addition to the usual day in Windber (where they will compete in the Alltar Boy Olympics), there will be an excursion to Fort Ligonier, Idlewild Park, and St. Stephen's Church in Latrobe.
All parishes of the Diocese are urged to underwrite the $125.00 participation fee for their Altar Servers, recognizing that the Altar Boy of today may very well be the priest of tomorrow!
Those parishes which pay the registration fees for their altar boys are asked to PAY ONLINE OR SUBMIT THEIR CHECK BY THE DEADLINE - JUNE 7TH. The money is needed to make deposits on the various activities that are taking place. Please include a list of names of those the Church is paying for so that payment may be credited.

Electronic Registration and payment must be made no later than Friday, June 5th. Registrations not received or paid for by then cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt or even a spot at the retreat.
How to Register
Registration for the 2023 Diocesan Altarboy Retreat is to be made online. It is a two step process
1. You will be asked to fill out an online registration form, and preferably make payment electronically (or mail a check) . If paying by check please send your check of $125 per boy, payable to Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat, with a note as to who the payment is to:
