This program, inaugurated by His Grace Bishop Gregory in 2017, provides incredible experiences in nature for children between the ages of 8-18. Presentations and activities are led by the Carnegie Science Center, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Jennings Environmental Center, as well as by local high school teachers and college professors. Without you, the golfer, the advertiser or the donor, this noble undertaking would be impossible.
The Science and Nature Camp program is open to all of the children of our area churches as well as all of our diocesan parishes. Students will gain insights into Astronomy, Biology, Earth Science, Geology, Meteorology and much more. They will utilize the newly acquired microscopes and telescopes and explore the trails, waterfalls, streams, geography and night skies of Camp Nazareth. Details and registration information for this program are available at http://www.campnazareth.org/science-camp.
