JOHNSTOWN, PA - The Diocesan Chancery is pleased to announce the schedule of the annual Diocesan Lenten Retreats, which are sponsored by the ACRY for the upcoming Lenten Season. These retreats are open to everyone and contain special programming for youth and adults of all ages. Metropolitan Gregory and Archbishop Daniel of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA along with other talented clergy will offer insightful and inspiring presentations designed to encourage and challenge the faithful to stay focused on the spiritual life as they continue their Lenten Journey to Pascha.

Central Region:  Saturday March 28, 2020 at  St. Nicholas Church, Homestead, PA from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Adult Retreat Master, Metropolitan Gregory, will speak on the topic  Orthodox Love - Agape and Fr. David Urban, the  youth presenter, will lead an interactive discussion on the topic  Windows to Heaven – Icon of Divine Ascent & The Feasts Of The Church.  Registration is required and must be made by March 21, 2020.  Cathy Pawlik is in charge of registration.  Download Registration Form. Eastern Region:  Saturday April 4, 2020 at  St Francis Center For Renewal, in Bethlehem, PA  from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (EST). This year,  the retreat is being co-sponsored by the Ukrainian Orthodox League of the USA.  Fr. Anthony Perkins and Natalie Bilynsky will lead the adults and  adolescents in a discussion of understanding the virtue of  humility in the twenty-first century  from an Orthodox Christian perspective as compared and contrasted to psychological theories related to self-esteem Frs. Matthew Stagon and Nathanial Choma will serve as retreat masters for children ages 7-12 and will speak on the topic: The Last Shall Be First.  Download Eastern Regional Retreat Informational Flier (PDF Format) Cost is $45.00 per adult, $25.00 Clergy, $25.00 Adolescents (13-18)  $7.00 Children (7-12).
