She was preceded in death by her parents George and Susan Bartko and sister Nancy Hufford and her husband Russel. She was a strikingly beautiful member of the majorette corps in the high school marching band. She was a secretary for several insurance agencies until she retired to take on the blessed career of motherhood and if there was a report card, she would have again received all A's and graduate at the top of her class. She was loved by all the parishioners and she always readily helped in all baking and cooking projects. She made sure her children were dressed properly for church and school. She never missed a baseball game of her son or a track meet of her daughter. She also never missed a junior league game that FR. Tony managed and insisted they attended every opening night of the AAABA tournament, many times falling on their wedding anniversary. She proved how strong she was of faith and body as she survived two cancer surgeries, open heart surgery, and two pacemaker surgeries.
