2022 Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat

JOHNSTOWN, PA - Plans are underway for the Annual Altar Boy Retreat which will take place from Sunday evening, June 26th (Registration is from 6pm till 8 p.m.) until Wednesday, June 29, 2022.The Retreat will once again take place at Christ the Savior Seminary, Cathedral and Education Center in Johnstown and at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Windber, PA. This year's outing will be a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial where we will perform a Panachida and have lunch, before proceeding to Caddie Shak adventure park for the rest of the afternoon. This is the time and place for our faithful Altar Servers to join other Altar Boys from all over our Diocese.
All parishes of the Diocese are urged to underwrite the $125.00 participation fee for their Altar Servers, recognizing that the Altar Boy of today may very well be the priest of tomorrow!
Those parishes which pay the registration fees for their altar boys are asked to PAY ONLINE OR SUBMIT THEIR CHECK BY THE DEADLINE - JUNE 12TH. The money is needed to make deposits on the various activities that are taking place. Please include a list of names of those the Church is paying for so that payment may be credited.

Electronic Registration and payment must be made no later than Friday, June 5th. Registrations not received or paid for by then cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt or even a spot at the retreat.
How to Register
Registration for the 2022 Diocesan Altarboy Retreat is to be made online. It is a two step process
1. You will be asked to fill out an online registration form, and preferably make payment electronically (or mail a check) . If paying by check please send your check of $125 per boy, payable to Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat, with a note as to who the payment is to:

2. You will be prompted to download and mail completed & signed registration and medical history forms (Pages 5-9 of registration packet) to:
