Eternal Memory: +Archon John Gidicsin

JOHNSTOWN, PA - [Diocesan Chancery] -- With profound sadness the Diocesan Chancery announces that +Archon John Gidicsin Jr.  fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday February 3, 2022. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Nicholas of Myra Orthodox Church in New  York City.  

Archon John is predeceased by his wife Justine, by less than two years, and survived by his children Jamie, Justine and John Jr.

John worked tirelessly for St. Nicholas Church and served the Parish as President of the Church Council as well as holding other offices over a very long time.  

Funeral services will take place on  Monday, February 7^th at St. Nicholas Church, 10^th Street, NYC, with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Maspeth, NY.

Diocesan Clergy and faithful are kindly asked to remember the newly departed servant +John and the entire Gidicsin family in their prayers.

May Almighty God Grant Rest Eternal and Blessed Repose to  His Newly Departed Servant +John and May His Memory Be Eternal!
