Pilgrim's Camp to Be Established in Conjunction With Fall Pilgrimage
July 11, 2005
JOHNSTOWN, PA - In the tradition of the Great Pilgrimages in Eastern Europe and with the Blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas, our Diocesan Youth and all area Orthodox Youth are encouraged to join Him at Saint Basil's Academy for the celebration of Vespers and the Divine Liturgy.
Bring your tents and sleeping bags for the Pilgrim's Camp which will be established at the Clarence Fahnestock State Park on Saturday. Come out and enjoy the fellowship, prayer and the beautiful surroundings. Fahnestock Park is located just a short drive from Saint Basil's Academy in the beautiful Hudson Valley and offers amenities such as picnic tables, grills, showers and restrooms.
A $10.00 per person registration includes all camping fees and a COMMEMORATIVE PILGRIM'S CAMP T-SHIRT. Registration is open to all who wish to join us for this Annual Event. Those who are 18 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
