Bishop Gregory Offers Keynote Address at OCF's College Conference East
LIGONIER, PA [Antiochian Village] At the invitation of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Campus Ministry (OCF), His Grace, Bishop Gregory is serving as keynote speaker at the 2013 College Conference East at Antiochian Village in Ligonier, PA, which is in session until December 31, 2013.
For the next three days, His Grace will be surrounded by 300 of North America's finest young Orthodox Christians who have travelled to Antiochian Village to reflect on the biblical theme: Behold now, what is so good or so pleasant as for brothers to dwell together in unity? Psalm 132:1. The students will have the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with one another, pray together and grow in their Orthodox faith, through participating in liturgical services, workshops, informal discussion groups and social activities.
This year, a large number of college students from the Diocese will be joining Bishop Gregory at the Conference.
Bishop Gregory, who is becoming well known both within and outside the Diocese for his keen ability to relate to youth, has recently been appointed Episcopal Liason to OCF from the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North and Central America. Bishop Gregory was pleased to be asked to serve as the keynote speaker at College Conference East, so he could have the opportunity to spend time with some of the students he has been called to minister to, and encourage them to continue to grow in the Grace of God and love for the Orthodox Faith.
The OCF Social Media Team in partnership with the Diocesan Apostolate for Information Technology and Communications invite you to follow the Conference on-line, where daily photo and media galleries will be posted.
