Changes Announced In Funeral Live Broadcast Schedule
Changes Weekend Live Broadcast Schedule Announced
JOHNSTOWN, PA - [Diocesan Apostolate for Information Technology] Changes to the live broadcast schedules for Divine Liturgy at Christ the Saviour Cathedral and Funeral Services for Metropolitan Nicholas have just been announced.
Divine Liturgy at Christ the Saviour Cathedral will not be carried live on the internet tommorow (Sunday March 20, 2011) due to the absence of the Cathedral dean who will co-celebrate Liturgy at St. John's Church in Perth Amboy, NJ. Those who wish to view Divine Liturgy on-line are invited to watch a live broadcast from St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Orange Connecticut, beginning at 9:45 am. It can be viewed here: https://realserver.goarch.org/en/parishes/ct/saintbarbara/
In a recent development, the diocesan tech team is planning to broadcast the Parastas Service for Metropolitan Nicholas. (Sunday March 20, 2011 at 7 pm) and the final Panachida and pouring of oil by Archbishop Demetrios (Monday March 21, 2011 at 10:30 am) which will take place at St. John the Baptist Church in Perth Amboy, NJ.
To watch these services live, please log on to the Funeral live broadcast page at http://www.acrod.org/metropolitan/metromultimedia/online-funeral at the time of these services. There are, however, a few technological and logistical issues at press time that need to be addressed. If it is not possible to carry them live, a message will be posted to this effect prior to the start of services.
Next Sunday, March 27, 2011 the regular schedule of live broadcasts will resume.
