Orthodox On-Line Scripture Study Resumes
JOHNSTOWN, PA -- The Diocesan Chancery is pleased to announce that the on-line Orthodox Scripture Study, on the Gospel of St. Matthew, has resumed its weekly classes for the Fall and Spring 2012-2013 academic year, continuing where the study left off at the end of the 2011-2012 season.
It is held weekly on Saturday evenings at 4:45 pm and will continue through the end of June 2013, with short recesses to be announced during the Nativity and Holy Week/Paschal Seasons. Each class is approximately 60 minutes in length with time allotted for questions to follow.
The class takes place in "Real Time" and is broadcast live from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio. The class is led by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Kenneth Bachofsky, D. Min. Pastor of St. Nicholas Church and Professor of Sacred Scripture at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Theological Seminary
All are invited to participate in the on-line class. There is no cost to participate.
