Funeral Services For Protodeacon John Youhas Celebrated
AMBRIDGE, PA -- Funeral services for the ever-memorable Protodeacon John Youhas, parish vocation of St. John the Baptist Church, Ambridge, PA and personal deacon to the late Metropolitan Nicholas were conducted today.
Representing His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios, Diocesan Locum Tenens, was the Very Rev. Protopresbyter Frank P. Miloro, Diocesan Chancellor. He was joined by the pastor of St. John the Baptist Church and Dean of the Pittsburgh Deanery, The Very Rev. Robert Prepelka and 20 other diocesan and local Orthodox Priests.
Following the Funeral Service and funeral repast in the parish hall, the interment took place at Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
May Almighty God Rest the Soul of the Newly Departed and Ever-Memorable Servant of God, the Protodeacon John in the Mansions of the Just Where There is Neither Sickness, Pain or Sorrow, But Life-Everlasting. May His Memory Be Eternal!
