Perth Amboy 120th Anniversary (9/10/17)
On the weekend of September 8-10, 2017, His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa joined the faithful of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy, NJ for the celebration of the 120th Anniversary of the founding of their parish.

The Kardiotissa Icon was present (from the previous evening service) for the Saturday Memorial Liturgy in memory of the Departed Founders, Builders and Benefactors.
During the Memorial Liturgy, Reader Andrew Wythe read through the entire church diptychs of the parish, lighting a candle for each family named.
"O God of Spirits and of all flesh...".

Parish President Steve Gallant greeted His Grace with the traditional Bread and Salt prior to the celebration of the Sunday Divine Liturgy.
