About the Special Assembly
A Special Assembly of Diocesan Priests will be convened on Saturday July 14, 2012 in Christ the Saviour Cathedral by His Eminence, Archbishop Demetrios of America, Diocesan Locum Tenens for the purpose of nominating a candidate for ruling Bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the U.S.A. Location
The Special Assembly of Diocesan Priests will take place at Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Johnstown, PA, with clergy and guests being lodged at the Holiday Inn Downtown, 250 Market Street, Johnstown, PA
Hotel Information:
A room rate of $79.99 per night (plus tax) for accommodations with either one king or two double beds has been arranged. Note: there is a modest $3 per car/per day parking fee. To secure this special rate, room reservations can be made by calling the Holiday Inn Downtown Johnstown at (814) 535-7777 or (800)-433-5663. Rooms must be booked under the group code 'Christ the Saviour Cathedral’.
Reservations must be made by June 29, 2012.
Meal Reservation:
Following the election, a luncheon will be served at Christ the Saviour Educational Center. There is a charge of $15 per adult and $7.50 for children under 12. Reservations must be made in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door.
It is requested that each diocesan parish submit reservations for all who will be attending on a special reservation form that can be downloaded by Clicking Here.
Reservations must be made by July 6th. No exceptions will be made.
