Cathedral Is Home Base For Food Drive

Every year around Christmas, Saturday’s Kitchen gives away 200 bags of groceries to those in need. Each Parish is asked to donate one item. Cathedral parishioners Ron and Joan Bost are chair-persons for the food drive. This year the Cathedral parishioners donated jars of peanut butter and homemade cookies. The grocery items will be collected in the church basement stage area by December 15th where boxes are available for distribution. Good people of the Johnstown area will assemble the grocery items on Monday, December 16th and Tuesday, December 17th at 10:00 am in the Cathedral Auditorium. We will deliver all bags to the Family Kitchen Saturday, December 21st.
