Coming Events for July & August 2011

The Cathedral Office has announced the following upcoming parish events:

July 27- 10-12 noon Flea Market sorting andpricing

July 28 - 6 PM ACRY meets in the Cathedral Auditorium. Our ACRY is hosting next year's Convention,and all committees need to make reports of their progress at this meeting

August 2 - 9 AM Liturgy for St. Elias and Breakfast Club at WestmontEat-N-Park

August 3 -  10–12 noon Flea Market sorting and pricing

August 3 -  7 PM St. Nectarios Moleben with Anointing

August 7 - 11:30 AM Parish Corn Roast/Picnic on the SeminaryGrounds. Don'tforget the cake bakeoff! Layer cakes and sheet cakes are both welcomed, and will be judged on presentation & taste! Prizes to the winners!

August -10 10-12 noon Flea Market sorting and pricing (last one!)

August 13 - 9 AM to 1 PM Parish FleaMarket

August 13 -  10 AM St. John'sChurch in Nesquehoning, PA– Father Deacon David Mastrobertewill be ordained to the Priesthood by Archbishop Antonyof the Ukrainian Orthodox Diocese of the USA for service to our Diocese at St. John's Church in Sharon, PA

August 14 – August 28 Dormition Fast – during this time we areasked to minimally fast from meat on Wednesdays and Fridays. A stricter fast may be undertaken!

August 18 - 7 PM "Saturday Kitchen" meets in the Auditorium. New members are always welcome!

August 19 - 9 AM Transfiguration Liturgy – bring fruit to be blessed! Breakfast Club at Westmont Eat-N-Park

August 28- 9 AM Dormition Liturgy – bring flowers and herbage to be blessed! Breakfast Club at Westmont Eat-N-Park
